1. Unversed in Love is DV's second album and is what I consider part of the classic first four albums preceded by World Without End, followed by Antiquity and Fairyland. All four of these albums are unique works and yet similar, being that they all are the epitome of dark yet also club friendly synth/5(3).

2. The packaging is a gate fold, and I actually prefer that over the low impact plastic cases of old. As far as album art, they've recreated that well, but liner notes are non existent. That's the only knock. I love to sit down and read the lyrics, notes on the album from the members of Foreigner, that kind of stuff. This doesn't have that/5().

The typical DE/VISION album is usually a mixed bag for me: About half of the songs connect with me really strongly and become part of my regular playlist, while about half I can’t get into for some reason. For example, Popgefahr had a larger proportion of “love it” tunes, Rockets and Swords and Noob, less so. But 13 is a different animal.
